I have started my project by removing what was left of the seat, gas tank, and the engine.  That will give me plenty of room to start refinishing my frame.  First, I start by grinding all the rust off with a 4.5 inch angle grinder equipped with a wire brush.  This took no time at all.  On my last project it took me about 5 days to grind using a drill and wire brush.  This only took me about 15 minutes to do most of the rear. I still have a little more stripping of removable parts, but I got anxious to grind!  After a good cleaning, with rubbing alcohol and some carb clean, it should be ready for some primer.  The best thing to do would be to sandblast the frame and have it powdercoated, but that will run in the area of $300 to have it done.  Maybe in a winter to come, but for this winter I am just going to devote my time and money into other areas of the sled like the engine and seat.  My other sled was finished by grinding and painting myself and it did not turn out too bad.( See pictures in my last project)

It still needs some parts removed, a good cleaning and some grinding on the rusty spots
